G’day, I’m Chris, the face behind CareerMate
I know how it feels to be in a role that isn’t quite right, one that doesn’t align with your purpose or personal values.
Early in my career, I faced that very struggle. So, I made a change and transitioned from market research to customer and digital consulting, eventually stepping into the marketing and product arenas. Today, I lead a cross-functional team across New Zealand and Australia in this space.
Naturally, I started helping friends and family navigate their own career transitions. It quickly became clear there wasn’t enough support for people trying to up-skill and reframe their transferable skills.
Since launching CareerMate, I’ve helped clients land roles in new industries, start side hustles, and regain confidence in their career paths.

During the introduction, we’ll discuss your current career challenges and goals.
We’ll also get to know each other and answer any questions you may have.
SELECT
After our introduction, we’ll send through a personalised proposal, based on your needs and preferences.
We’ll then progress with either coaching or mentorship.
START
We’ll lock-in dates of our session(s) and you’ll receive an outline of what to expect as we move forward with your chosen pathway.
