CareerMate was born for Millennials and GenZ - we know everyone goes through twists and turns in their careers, and newer generations specifically need support with transitionary periods in their career - that's where CareerMate comes in.

We have programmes for 'Career Starters' and 'Career Transitioners'.

Additionally, if you know what direction you're heading in, we also have a 'Land the Job' programme and specifically targeted programmes in functional areas (e.g., Marketing, Research, Customer, Product + more!).

We also offer bespoke coaching sessions for more nuanced needs, so if you just need a session or two to work through your career situation, check out our coaching sessions.

All of our Career Mates have gone through career changes. All Career Mates are currently in the workforce, so we share insights from today plus our years of experience.

CareerMate keep it clear and transparent. Our coaches all work full-time and currently are going through or have gone through the same challenges you have.

We specifically help people go through transitionary periods, and we have extensive experience cross-functionally (i.e., Marketing, Digital, Customer, Product, Strategy, Research, Ops & more). As a result, we know how to support people transfer their skills into new directions.

All Career Mates have been through exactly what we coach on - we've changed careers, experienced burn-out, moved locations, had a bad boss, left a role because we weren't happy, started a side-gig/new business and used our transferrable skills in a new career direction.

Many hundreds of hours have led to the creation of our coaching and mentorship options, curated from relevant, modern resources, tools and frameworks.

Each session is designed to be practical, with everything having a real-world application. They have been created so you can immediately action learnings, with a coach to support you along the way.

We are transparent with our costs, all sessions and programme costings can be found within each service up-front.

Yes, all coaching and mentorship options are run online, unless expressly stated by the individual in our initial conversations.

We're happy to meet in-person (if you're based in Auckland), just let us know when you reach-out.

After booking, we will send through a link to connect.

This all depends on your specific circumstances. Some people just need a few sessions with the career coach facilitating support with your issue/opportunity, whereas others want coaching or mentorship over a longer period of time.

This our commitment to you - we want to make sure everyone feels supported post-programme.
